Rezi's castle
The outstanding tourist attraction of the village of Rezi, which is only 13 km from Hévíz, is the castle built in the 1300s, which stands on the dolomite ridge of the nearby Meleg-hegy. The ruins of the castle can be found on the 418-meter-high promontory of Meleg-hegy, rising above the Szántó basin, a few kilometers northeast of the village. The view from the mountain is unparalleled, you can see Tátika, Sümeg Castle, Szent György-hegy, Gulács and Badacsony.
