Lake Hévíz, formed tens of thousands of years ago, is not only one of our national treasures, but also the world's largest, biologically active, thermal water spa, whose healing power and healing effects attract many people to our city.
The lake's water yield is 410 /l/sec, so the water is changed every three and a half days. Its temperature does not fall below 22 degrees C even in winter, and reaches 38 degrees C in summer. Its special composition and the components that dissolve from the layer of peat covering the lake bed allow for a very wide range of uses in healing.
The use of medicinal water in itself provides a complex therapy. Longer courses and treatments cover a wide range of locomotor diseases.
Preferably used for: rheumatic and locomotor diseases, osteoporosis, inflammatory and joint diseases, injuries and after-treatment of locomotor surgeries. It is also recommended for the pre- and post-treatment of soft tissue rheumatological and joint operations, disc operations and gynecological diseases. The duration of the therapy is optimally 2-3 weeks, during which various therapeutic treatments are possible.
